I am LOVE!

What do I bring to the table of life? LOVE! Each day I make my life work about removing any place within my life that may be resistant to love. I go within and look for ways to grow, expand, and evolve. That is after all why I come here. Oh the world would have me believe that it was to be this, or that when in fact it is to be love. All the other stuff that I choose to take on is really a diversion from my real work which is to be love. When I can look within and find the places that are resistant and clear them an open the windows of my soul and allow love to flow in and out of my life that is when I am the most free to be the expression of love that I come here to be.

Day 15: Mountains, create a list of 5 of your greatest qualities.

How does creating a list about my greatest qualities help me transform my life? How does looking at nature help me transform my life? How does looking for the good in life help me transform my life?

All of these are excellent questions. One of the things I know and understand today is how things are interconnected. When I can see the beauty in nature that means I am open at that moment to see it within myself as well. It is impossible for us to recognize something in another that we in fact do not possess within us. I am aware that the thing that I see in others that really irritates me is a quality that I have. I also know that when I see something amazing in someone that I too have that quality as well. Why is it that the irritant is so much easier to see? I think the answer is that we are taught to look for the flaws, defects, and errors in life. What if we just admired something for its beauty that includes all of those things as well.

I have a wonderful Native American friend who shared with me the story of how his tribe honors thing that is broken, or cracked and holds them as the most sacred items they possess. The belief is that the crack, or flaw is the point at which the great Spirits enter the vessel. I love that. Let's look at nature for a moment. In order for the seed to germinate it must crack open from the inside and expose itself to the soil and the warmth of the sun in order to become what it destined to be. So all of those amazing places within our lives that we so often worry about are the spaces in our lives where we allow our greater selves to enter.

Learning to honor myself and the qualities that I hold within in one of the greatest lessons on the path to self love, self discovery, and self worth. When I can go within and see the beauty that I bring to the world the entire world is shifted. Once I see it within myself, I can better see it within you.

List 5 of my greatest qualities.

1) The way I loved myself.
2) The way I loved others.
3) The way I loved with a compassionate heart.
4) That I lived a transparent life.
5) I am a great skipper.

I love loving you,
Namaste`
