Day 22: Clay, what area of your body do you hold energy? How does it feel when you release it and let it go?
This is an easy one for me, in my shoulders. I love getting a massage from my healing friend Torito. He is very gifted at helping me release the stored energy in my body. Those places where I have been holding energy and become rigid like clay can be painful in the release process. I know that when I stick with it and continue to let go it feels so much better and I feel the freedom of release.
I don't know about you but it feels as if I can carry the world on my shoulders at times. I totally realize today that I have put that burden on myself and that in that moment I am choosing to suffer. I can choose to let go and trust the process and the divine flow anytime I am ready. When I am ready and I go within to release the tension I feel my body take a deep breathe and let go. It is one of the best feelings and yet I choose to pick up the world and put it back on my shoulders.
I do my best to keep my focus on what I want rather than the whys of life. I find that when I do I spend more energy creating what I want rather than more of what I don't want. I find that when I can focus on my breath and follow it in and out as I breathe that I live in the present moment. So much of what we take on in life is some perceived thought that causes us to worry, and be fearful about what is coming next. When we can be fully present in the now moment it serves us so much more.
Today when you find yourself becoming tense, or stiff. Stop, and follow your breath in and out and be in the present moment. You will be amazing at how good it feels to be here now.
I love you,
Rev Allen
