Celebrate You!

Creating celebrations are so very important. It is one of the ways we honor the work with are doing within. In the book Seasons of Change I talk a great deal about celebrating ourselves and who we are in the world. One of the best ways to do that on a daily basis is mirror work. I share in the book that when I first started doing mirror work it was really hard to look at myself in the eyes. After years of doing the same thing over and over again I find looking at myself in the mirror while looking deeply into my eyes saying to myself I love myself, and I am very proud of the work I am doing in the world. Today I did indeed create a headdress out of colorful paper and one of my favorite crow feathers that I have found on one of my many walks. I know today that I am indeed standing on sacred ground and that there are angels all around. In fact, you are one of them.

Day 80 Feathers, Create a ceremony of love, make a headdress out of flowers, feathers, and colorful paper. Honor your soul and the beauty of who you are. Stand in front of a mirror and acknowledge your many gifts.

At Amor Spiritual Center, I talk about the importance of celebratating your achievements and honoring the work that you are doing. I find this to be so very important for us as we travel this path. It is so easy to complete a project, met a goal, follow-through on something only to think about what is next.

Yesterday on my walk I took the time to honor each person I met with Namaste` I looked for the Divine in each of them. I made it a game and I was so amazed to see the response. I walk in the mall as it is much cooler and I feel safe there. So as each person would approach I would think to myself Namaste` I see the Divine in you. I would nod my head and smile. The number of people who smiled and nodded back was unbelievable at first. Then I remembered the interconnectedness in nature and I realized a deeper truth. At the same moment, I saw the divine in them, they saw the divine in me. We were in fact honoring each other and the work we are doing.

Yesterday I also spend time with a wonderful healer friend doing Reiki for Seniors we do this work once a month at our local senior center. As we were sharing our healing work the awareness that we were really sharing love was most present to my mind. I become aware that once again as I honored the Divine in the person we were doing energy work on, they were indeed doing the same for us. On Sunday, I talked about the importance of knowing what you are planting in the world. Just like in nature, what you put into the soil is what you are going to get out. Plant corn you will get corn. The same is true of life, the Divine, and ourselves. Plant love and you will receive love in return.

Finding time in our day to stop and honor who we are, and that what we bring to the world each day is so very important. I honor the Divine in you. Namaste`

I love you,
Rev Allen
