What is your new destination? Are your bags packed and ready to go?

Where am I going today? With all the GPS support we have in our lives today, we don't ask ourselves that question as much anymore. The truth is we have an internal GPS that is always working to get us where we need to be. One of my favorite songs has a phrase in it that states "I'm not lost I'm just exploring." I love that! When I let go of the attachment to where I think I am going and allow the Divine flow to take me where I need to be, life flows with greater ease. When I resist, that is the moment that life shows up with even with more intensity.

Day 79: Flamingo, What are you giving birth to? In what areas of your life are you ready to take flight? Have you surrounded yourself with people who stand in your greatest abilities, or people who want to hold you to the ground? Today is the first day of the rest of your life, where are you ready to go?

One of the thingsI am giving birth to is that I now blog on a daily basis. As the author of Seasons of Change I wanted to really live in my work. I wanted to read and do the daily exercises just like as I was asking others to do. As a result of this experience I had more and more folks asking that I share my daily writing with them. Once again by doing the same work over and over again on a consistent basis I have created a new habit of being grateful, and writing about it on a daily basis. This is something that I have desired to do for years. Yet I would find myself starting only to find myself within a few days not writing at all. Why is that? Things that have the greatest impact on our lives are those things that are easy to do and just as easy not to do. Jeff Olson talks about this in his book the "Slight Edge."

What areas of my life are you ready to take flight? I am working on my next book. I know that the work I am doing today is part of that work and I am excited to see what the Divine allow to flow through me. One of the many things I had to release in order to do this work was the belief that my writing style was inadequate and sharing raw material. I am very blessed to have an amazing editor who edits my books and allows me to still come through. As I do this work daily, I am realizing that when I let go of the attachments to what others think about my writing skills the more my writing flows with ease.

Do I surround myself with people who stand in my greatest abilities? Yes! I am very grateful that is one of the lessons I took to heart. When I find yourself surrounded by folks who want to tell you how to live your life and do your work that is an excellent time to do the hand test. What is the hand test you may be asking? Who are the five people you spend the most time with? Are they living lives that you want to be living? If not, it is time for a perspective shift. It is so easy to tell others how to live their lives when your life is less than stellar. It is one of ego's favorite tactics for distraction from your path. I surround myself with folks who believe in my greater vision and keep asking how can they assist me in getting there. One of the greatest lessons I embody today is helping others achieve their goals also. It is one of the quickest ways to achieve my goals.

What is your new destination? Are your bags packed and ready to go?

I love you,

Rev Allen
