Empowered!

In my coaching practice, I speak about the importance of being able to recognize your greatness and the qualities you bring to the table. We are often taught that is self absorbed and arrogant. When we are empowered within and know our truth it allows us to be unattached to what others think of our journey, and most importantly to know our worth.

Day 82: Herbs Today in addition to writing about five things you are grateful for, take note in your journal five positive qualities or attributes you possess.

I love the line from today's reading. "When I am empowered and know who I am I can lend my gifts to others and enhance their lives."

What an empowering and wonderful awareness to have for oneself! I love that I know, and am aware of this truth for myself today. The journey from Seasons of Change has been so profound in my life. Living fully in the now moment and being the greatest expression of love that I can be is allowing me to lend my gifts to others. I love that!

Yesterday my beloved and I had an abundantly full day. We did yoga at Amor Spiritual Center in the morning with Kendra Wagner. It was so wonderful to be able to get there early and make sure the room was set up, vacuumed, and prepared for Kendra. We laughed and shared love with each other as we learned new yoga moves and open our bodies up in ways we had not before.

We then attended the Emerald City Black Pride Bowling event in the afternoon where we had the most amazing time. We again laughed especially when I dropped the bowling ball behind me when bowling. The food was amazing and I love how they had us vegetarians in mind with planning the menu. It was so good to visit with and see, others from the greater community and be, loved! It is so good to have a change to play as an adult, and really enjoy it.

We then attended the most wonderful Interfaith concert at the Interfaith Community in Ballard. It was a dream come true. I have always loved the Sufi tradition and I love their meditative spinning known as the whirling dervish. Last evening was filled with wonderful Turkish music, and several amazing dervish. I love how your soul can dance while sitting in the chairs watching others. It was a feast for my mind and my soul.

As I mention it was a delightfully abundant day which came to completion with my beloved and I sharing in our abundance meditation together. To sit and quiet the mind after so much activity was the perfect complement to the day. I love that we are both empowered in ourselves, and was very graciously willing to lend our gifts and receive the gifts of others. What a wonderful expression of Namaste`.

5 things I am grateful for:
I am grateful for Kendra Wagner for sharing her gifts of teaching us yoga.
I am grateful for Patricia Valentine, and Tony Winsley for showing up to support Amor's Yoga.
I am grateful for Emerald City Black Pride for Celebrating the greater community.
I am grateful for the Interfaith Community for allowing us to share in their wonderful event and show us such hospitality.
I am grateful for the abundance showing up in my life on a daily basis.

5 qualities or attributes I possess.
I am open hearted and give and receive love from others.
I am fully present in all that I do. I give my full attention to where I am.
I am willing to laugh at myself and not take things personally.
I am an amazing expression of love everywhere I go.
I have a grateful spirit and I appreciate the gifts I bring and the gifts of others.

I love you,

Rev Allen
