What do I bring to the world?

Today I ask my clients and friends to make a list of qualities they hold within themselves. I offer to share what I bring to the world as an example. I share this on one of our first visits and give them the space that is needed to complete the list for themselves. I request they check in with me and keep me up to date on how it is coming. No matter how much we love someone else we cannot do their work for them. I see, and hold each person in my life at their greatest potential. This serves me very well. If someone else doesn't see a quality within themselves, it is very difficult for it to show up in their day to day lives. Learning to love, and see the good within ourselves, allows us to see the good in others with greater ease.

Day 76: Crystals, What do you bring to the world? What are your special gifts and powers?

Many years ago, I had a wonderful friend who sat me down and interviewed me for friendship. I was asked what was my intention for the friendship, and what did I bring to the table? How did I resolve conflict, and how did I express frustration and anger with someone that I loved?

At first I was really put off, I had never been asked these questions before. I had never thought about what I bring to the world. Today this continues to be one of the greatest tools in my toolbox of love and support. When we set up relationships for an optimal expression we are in fact setting our intention for a full, and loving experience. Thought out the years, I have used this not only in my personal life but in coaching, and business relationships as well.

What do I bring to the world?

I bring love, compassion, and a heart that is open and receptive to love and being a safe space for others. I am a compassionate listener, I ask for what you need, rather than giving you some unwanted interaction. I speak to you from my heart, and I listen to the inner voice when asked about my feelings on the any matter that you bring to me. I resolve conflict by going inside to see my part in creating this experience and take responsibility for what I heard, and how I react. I request time to process, and I will return to you and talk with you about my feelings when complete. I express my anger and frustration in a calm and rational manner today. If I feel I can't speak out of love or respect, I request that we not talk about it until I am able to do that.

What are my special gifts and powers?

One of my special gifts is that I am empathic. I sense others emotions and how they are feeling. This is a great gift in coaching work. I am an energy giver and healer. Which for me translates to being a safe space for others to find their way to a peaceful and loving space. I am a safe space. I am loving, compassionate, and have an open heart and mind. It is my intention to live in a judgement free space. I am very open to new experiences regarding loving and compassionate energy.

When I was first asked what my gifts were, and what I bring to the table? I didn't know what to say. We are often taught that any kind of self love is regarded as arrogance. It is the foundation of the work that I do today. Allowing other to love themselves and find their gifts in life. When we know what we bring, and we understand how we resolve things. We are able to negotiate through life with greater ease and grace. Today I found this process easy as I have spent the last few years of my life really looking at the beauty and love I bring to the world each day.

What do you bring to the world?

I love you,

Rev Allen
